HubSpot rolled out AI agents that qualify leads and update CRM records on their own, plus a feature that pulls in outside data to keep contact details (job changes, new phone numbers, company updates) current without anyone typing them in. It's rolling out across HubSpot's CRM tiers, including the free plan.
The auto-updating contact data is the real feature here. Nobody keeps a CRM current, because it's boring and nothing bad happens right away when you skip it. If HubSpot can pull in job changes and new numbers from public sources without you lifting a finger, that's worth testing. The AI agents are a different story: they still need supervision. Don't assume a bot can screen a $50,000 deal without you checking its work.
HubSpot has a free CRM plan; paid tiers with more AI features start around $15/seat/month (check current pricing).
Small teams already running HubSpot who know their contact records are stale. Not a reason to switch CRMs on its own.
